anime It is already the middle of spring and days are geting warmer and warmer… In Japan sakura trees are in fool bloom while in Lithuania starts long-awaited „Anime Nights“ festival. For this occasion this Friday HASHI invites you to spend the evening while watching anime. Fuse Teppō Musume no Torimonochō is a 2012 Japanese animated film directed by Masayuki Miyaji based on Kazuki Sakuraba’s book Fuse Gansaku: Satomi Hakkenden. Both novel and film are an adaptation of Kyokutei Bakin’s Nansō Satomi Hakkenden, focusing on a female hunter named Hamaji.

Hamaji is a strong and independent girl who lives alone in a mountain. Surviving as a hunter just like her grandfather, she one day receives a letter from her brother who lives in Edo. He wants her help in hunting “fuse”, half-human half-dog beings who consume human souls. Reaching the big city, she gets lost and ends up meeting Shino, a fuse.

When anime ends you can either attend „Anime Nights“ first nocturnal part or extend the evening while drinking tea and eating self-brought snacks.

Time: April 4th (Friday), 6 pm
Place: Sugihara House, Vaizganto g.
