Lecture. Newest robots in Japan

First time in “Hashi” club history a lecture only about technologies in Japan. Moreover, it will be about robots! This lecture will be kindly given by assoc. prof. Tetsuya Mouri from Gifu University.

This Friday “Hashi” invites to watch a Japanese drama, directed by Suzuki Matsuo.  “Welcome to the Quiet room” (2007) tells a story about a young journalist Asuka Sakura, who, after drinking a dangerous dose of pills, wakes up in a psychiatric hospital…

VMU Japanese culture club “Hashi” invites you to come official members for the first time! “Hashi” membership card will allow you to get into private events, gives discount for “Hashi” stuff and much more. Our public events will be continued as usual though.

3rd Japanese Lesson in Hashi!

Hashi club invites you to the last Japanese lesson this year. The lesson will be hold by future Japanese teacher, VMU exchange student from Japan – Kayako Takagi. This time we will learn basic sentences about Japanese food. Table manners and food culture will be introduced as well.

12 representatives of Youth Exchange program from Japan are visiting VMU Centre for Asian Studies on September 9. They are coming by the good will program, based on Japanese Government‘s „International Youth Program for 2010“. All VMU students are invited to join and to have nice time with our guests.

In July, Centre for Asian Studies has received a financial support from Suntory Holdings Limited company. The support is awarded for the international joint research project “Reception of Japanese and Korean Popular Culture in Europe”.
