Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange approved the Library expansion project which was submitted this autumn. According to the project, during upcoming 3 years Asian Books Space will acquire publications for 9000 USD. VMU Centre for Asian Studies Chiune Sugihara Reading Room enters the last stage of moving to other premises. Today, the part of the Reading Room, dedicated to Humanities, Social and Natural Sciences, was started to crate. The funds of Reading Room will be available since autumn. A book donation from Prof Kumiko Yamada at Rikkyo University (Tokyo, Japan) is now already available publicly at Ch. Recently, Center for Asian studies successfully completed second stage of Ch. Sugihara‘s reading room  expansion program, funded by Chiang-Ching Kuo Foundation (CCKF).
