This Friday “Hashi” invites you to a lecture-discussion on the Japanese cult of kawaii (‘cute’). Vytautas Magnus University teacher Kyoko Koma has been doing a research about kawaii, as it is understood in Japan and Europe, and she will present her findings during the “Hashi” event. She has also prepared a questionnaire on how Lithuanian people imagine cuteness. After the presentation, a Ghibli studio anime (“Kiki’s delivery service“) will be shown. Everyone is welcome!
