Where does heritage stand in sustainable urbanization? How can the “future” city include space for the “past”? The 19th ASEF Summer University will address the multifaceted and complex challenges emerging from rapid urbanization and seek solutions for a “Sustainable Urbanization in Heritage Cities” in Asia and Europe.

Mizuhiki is traditional Japanese art of ornamentation and is already 607 years old. For this ornamentation technique colorful paper chords are being used.
